Free Guided Rides
Offered at varying times, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
FREE GUIDED RIDES
Sign up for our guided rides and explore the trails at Ascutney. We have options for beginner, intermediate, advanced, ladies-only guided rides and kids rides too! Sign up is at the event only at the ATA booth. Rides will go out at 9am, 10am, 1pm & 2pm all weekend.
Daily Rides
We have rides for all levels with a mix of new and revamped trails so everyone can experience something they’ve never ridden before.
E-Bike Epics
Join some of our Ascutney Trails E-bike regulars for a guided ride just for e-bikes; rides for all skill levels available. Riders can BYO EBikes or demo one from the vendors at the fest.
Family Rides
Each day we’ll have rides geared specifically towards family riding. Riders under 14 accompanied by a guardian/chaperone are encouraged to join these guided rides

Clinics & Workshops
Clinic registration most be done IN ADVANCE ONLINE! Flow State ticket required to participate but clinics are NOT included in FS ticket.
TRAIL BOSS RIDES w/ JEFF LENOSKY
Flow State is stoked to welcome back ambassador for REEB Cycles, TASCO and the Can’d Aid Foundation, Jeff Lenosky! Jeff will be leading advanced and intermediate Trail Boss Rides at Flow State. Trail Boss Clinic registration is done separately from that of Flow State.

KICKSTANDS UP – Clinics w/ Anna Schaal
Putting the Fun in Fundamentals, KICKSTANDS UP Clinics are intended to be fun and supportive group activities designed specifically for women and those who identify as female. Clinics are limited to 6 riders and are $35 per rider. Purchased separately here.
Friday
9:30-11am – Women’s Introduction to Maneuvers Clinic – This clinic is geared towards the advanced beginner and intermediate rider who is ready to progress their trail riding skills. We will start with reviewing body position on the bike as well braking and shifting. We will then introduce ratcheting, front and rear wheel lifts and pedal wheelies. Sign up here!
Saturday
9:30-11am – Women’s Cornering Clinic – This clinic is geared towards beginner/intermediate riders who are looking to feel more comfortable with cornering. We will work on fundamentals of cornering in the flat field and get a lot of practice riding down the hayfield. We will work on body position, braking and pressure control as we progress on maintaining speed, balance and traction when the trail turns. Sign up here!
NEW! RIDE WITH SPECIALIZED!
NEW FOR 2024 – Ride with Specialized and their team of pros including the legendary Ned Overend. They’ll have rides for intermediate and advanced riders, as well as E-MTB bike speciifc rides and even some bike maintenance clinics that you won’t want to miss! Head to the Specialized booth and sign up early – rides and clinics are first come first serve.
All participants must have a functioning, and safe bicycle with disc brakes, a helmet, and enough food and water to last the entire length of the workshop, and must be 15 or older.
Friday
2pm – Group E-MTB Ride – Intermediate 1 Hour ride +/- with Joe Wilson & David Brisfield. We’ll have a blast and help you get the most out of a class 1 E-MTB. Head to their booth to reserve an e-bike from their demo fleet early, first come first serve.
Saturday
9am – Rise & Shine Ride – Advanced Fitness XC Ride with National Champion Nick Mackie. No apologies, high tempo, gotta get your workout in so you can drink beer later ride. This will be a no drop ride* ( * it is your responsibility not to get dropped). 1 +/- hour ride for intermediate to advanced fit riders
9:30 am – Intro to E-MTB Clinic – Join us for an inside look at the capabilities of Specialized Turbo systems. Guaranteed to learn something new if you’re a current owner and get to experience some really cool features if you’re looking to demo one this weekend.
10am – Group E-MTB Ride – Intermediate 1 Hour ride+/- with Brett & Tina Severson. Put the knowledge you learned from the E-MTB clinic to use
Reserve a e-bike from our demo fleet early, first come first serve
2pm – Basic Suspension set-up – We’ll talk about suspension technology, static and dynamic set-up, the basics of bracketing and how to get the most out of your rig’s suspension in an easy-to-understand format.
Sunday

We will have Shenanigans daily that will test your bike skills on a whole new level! Events take place in the Lower Field near the stage. Sign up at the ATA tent. Yes – there will be some epic one-of-a-kind trophies up for grabs again!

Every year on Saturday night we have a Costume Dance Party. The 2024 Costume Theme is ANIMALS of VERMONT!
What animal do you think of first when you think of Vermont? Whatever the cluck you think of, you’ve goat this! Plus there will be udderly amazing prizes so don’t be sheepish – or do!
GIANT RAFFLE
Once again we will have a killer raffle! Three Day passes all include one entry and additional tickets are available for purchase onsite. Proceeds go to ATA. Drawing will be Saturday night during the Headliner’s set break.
