FREE GUIDED RIDES
Sign up for our guided rides and explore the trails at Ascutney. We’ll have options for beginner, intermediate, advanced and ladies-only guided rides and we are working on kids rides too! Stay tuned! Sign up is at the event only. Rides will go out at 9am, 10am, 1pm & 2pm all weekend.

BLUE SKY MTB WORKSHOPS
Hone your skills in a fun and supportive environment with assistance from Coach Christsonthy, a certified MTB Instructor and owner of Blue Sky MTB.
All participants must have a functioning, and safe bicycle with disc brakes, a helmet, and enough food and water to last the entire length of the workshop, and must be 15 or older.
Workshops are limited to 6 riders and are $50-55 per rider. Purchased separately here.
Friday
9:30- 11AM – Women’s Fundamental Skills Workshop Geared towards beginner riders, but can be useful for intermediate riders looking to hone their FUNdamental skills! You’ll learn proper body position, braking and shifting technique and more useful tools to help you progress your riding!
1:30 – 3PM – Get in the FLOW (all genders!) Geared toward the beginner or intermediate rider, but can be useful for every skill level! In the clinic we will ride the beautiful trails of Ascutney, VT and learn the “In’s and Out’s” of what “Finding Flow” on the trails mean! This clinic/ ride is 2 hours long.
Saturday
9:30 – 11AM – Intro to Jumping Women’s Workshop Geared toward the intermediate rider who is interested in learning proper pumping techniques as well as the fundamentals of getting your wheels off the ground with confidence! We’ll progress our skills in a safe and fun environment as we deconstruct the art of jumping our bikes!
1:30 – 3PM – MTB Intro to Jumping Workshop (all genders!) Geared toward the intermediate rider who is interested in learning proper pumping techniques as well as the fundamentals of getting your wheels off the ground with confidence! We’ll progress our skills in a safe and fun environment as we deconstruct the art of jumping our bikes!
TRAIL BOSS RIDES w/ JEFF LENOSKY
Flow State is stoked to welcome back ambassador for REEB Cycles, Pearl Izumi and the Can’d Aid Foundation, Jeff Lenosky! Jeff will be leading advanced and intermediate Trail Boss Rides at Flow State. More details including the schedule and registration link coming soon! Trail Boss Clinic registration is done separately from that of Flow State.
KICKSTANDS UP Clinics w/ Anna Schaal
Putting the Fun in Fundamentals, KICKSTANDS UP Clinics are intended to be fun and supportive group activities designed specifically for women and those who identify as female.
Clinics are limited to 6 riders and are $30 per rider. Purchased separately here.
Friday
9:30-11am – Women’s Up and Over Session Ride -Are you tired of getting off your bike every time you come up to an obstacle on the trail? Would you like to feel more comfortable riding up, going over and down rocks and roots? If the answer is yes then this clinic is for you. It is geared towards the beginner/intermediate rider who is comfortable riding single track trails. We will work on efficient body positions for technical features on the trail. We will discuss appropriate gearing, braking and trail scanning skills that can help to keep us on our bikes, no matter the obstacles ahead. We will meet at the Town Forest trail head and session ride on trail.
Saturday
9:30-11am Women’s Cornering Clinic – This clinic is geared towards beginner/intermediate riders who are looking to feel more comfortable with cornering. We will work on fundamentals of cornering in the flat field and get a lot of practice riding down the hayfield. We will work on body position, braking and pressure control as we progress on maintaining speed, balance and traction when the trail turns.

Bike Wash Station – The Boot Docs will be back at Flow State, demoing the WINTERSTEIGER US VeloClean bike wash station. The VeloClean was designed to save water while getting your bike nice and clean. In fact it only uses approximately 0.2 liters (0.05 gal) per bicycle.
