Free Guided Rides

Offered at varying times, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

FREE GUIDED RIDES -2023 Info listed-

Sign up for our guided rides and explore the trails at Ascutney. We have options for beginner, intermediate, advanced, ladies-only guided rides and kids rides too! Sign up is at the event only at the ATA booth. Rides will go out at 9am, 10am, 1pm & 2pm all weekend.

Experience true adventuring on the Ascutney Trails as the sun sets!

E-Bike Epics

Join some of our Ascutney Trails E-bike regulars for a guided ride just for e-bikes.  Riders can BYO their own MTB EBikes or demo one from the vendors at the fest.

Daily Rides

We have new rides for all levels so everyone can experience something they’ve never ridden before.

Youth Rides

We are excited to have Vermont Youth Cycling hosting a ride at this year’s Flow State event. Join their crew on Saturday at 2.30pm for an intermediate ride on the Ascutney Trails network. All riders aged 10-18 years old with strong mountain biking skills are welcome.

TRAIL BOSS RIDES w/ JEFF LENOSKY – CONFIRMED FOR 2024! -2023 Info listed-

Flow State is stoked to welcome back ambassador for REEB Cycles, TASCO and the Can’d Aid Foundation, Jeff Lenosky! Jeff will be leading advanced and intermediate Trail Boss Rides at Flow State. Trail Boss Clinic registration is done separately from that of Flow State.

STILL ROOM! 5pm JUST ADDED Bonus Wheelie Clinic -This is a fundraiser clinic for Cand Aid. It’s called a “wheelie clinic” but we can spend the 90 minutes working on pretty much any flat ground fundamental! Click here to sign up!

KICKSTANDS UP Clinics w/ Anna Schaal CONFIRMED FOR 2024! -2023 Info listed-

Putting the Fun in Fundamentals, KICKSTANDS UP Clinics are intended to be fun and supportive group activities designed specifically for women and those who identify as female.

Clinics are limited to 6 riders and are $30 per rider. Purchased separately here.


Friday

9:30-11am – Women’s Up and Over Session Ride -Are you tired of getting off your bike every time you come up to an obstacle on the trail? Would you like to feel more comfortable riding up, going over and down rocks and roots? If the answer is yes then this clinic is for you. It is geared towards the beginner/intermediate rider who is comfortable riding single track trails. We will work on efficient body positions for technical features on the trail. We will discuss appropriate gearing, braking and trail scanning skills that can help to keep us on our bikes, no matter the obstacles ahead. We will meet at the Town Forest trail head and session ride on trail.

Saturday

9:30-11am Women’s Cornering Clinic – This clinic is geared towards beginner/intermediate riders who are looking to feel more comfortable with cornering. We will work on fundamentals of cornering in the flat field and get a lot of practice riding down the hayfield. We will work on body position, braking and pressure control as we progress on maintaining speed, balance and traction when the trail turns.

BLUE SKY MTB WORKSHOPS -2023 Info listed-

Hone your skills in a fun and supportive environment with assistance from Coach Christsonthy, a certified MTB Instructor and owner of Blue Sky MTB

All participants must have a functioning, and safe bicycle with disc brakes, a helmet, and enough food and water to last the entire length of the workshop, and must be 15 or older.

Workshops are limited to 6 riders and are $50-55 per rider. Purchased separately here.

Friday

9:30- 11AM – Women’s Fundamental Skills Workshop Geared towards beginner riders, but can be useful for intermediate riders looking to hone their FUNdamental skills! You’ll learn proper body position, braking and shifting technique and more useful tools to help you progress your riding!

1:30 – 3PM – Get in the FLOW (all genders!)  Geared toward the beginner or intermediate rider, but can be useful for every skill level! In the clinic we will ride the beautiful trails of Ascutney, VT and learn the “In’s and Out’s” of what “Finding Flow” on the trails mean! This clinic/ ride is 2 hours long.

Saturday

9:30 – 11AM – Intro to Jumping Women’s Workshop Geared toward the intermediate rider who is interested in learning proper pumping techniques as well as the fundamentals of getting your wheels off the ground with confidence! We’ll progress our skills in a safe and fun environment as we deconstruct the art of jumping our bikes!

1:30 – 3PM – MTB Intro to Jumping Workshop (all genders!) Geared toward the intermediate rider who is interested in learning proper pumping techniques as well as the fundamentals of getting your wheels off the ground with confidence! We’ll progress our skills in a safe and fun environment as we deconstruct the art of jumping our bikes!

We will have Shenanigans daily that will test your bike skills on a whole new level! Events take place in the Lower Field near the stage. Sign up at the ATA tent. Yes – there will be some epic one-of-a-kind trophies up for grabs again!

ANNUAL COSTUME PARTY! -2023 Info listed-

Every year on Saturday night we have a Costume Dance Party. This year’s Costume Theme is Hawaiian Luau – YEAH BUOY!

Break out your grass skirts and finest floral button downs and get ready to ride it out on the dance floor! You could win some wicked swell prizes!

GIANT RAFFLE -2023 Info listed-

Once again we will have a killer raffle! Three Day passes all include one entry and additional tickets are available for purchase onsite. Procedes go to ATA, Drawing will be Saturday night during the Headliner’s set break.
